In science we are learning about habitats. The habitat that we are focused  on is the desert. We read two books about the desert and then we wrote about the animals, plants and how they survive. Some of the animals that live there are scorpions, snakes, gerbils,  sand fish, beetles, desert foxes and tortoises. Some survive by shade and others survive by drinking water. Sometimes animals cut a pice of a catus to get the water inside.   We have also learned about the forest and the polar habitats.  We have 3 more to go!

Meet and Greet

I am guessing by now that most of you have checked out the class lists posted on the front doors of the school. If you haven't already done so, head on over there and find out who else is in 3G besides you!  I have been at school for weeks now getting our classroom ready for all of you.  It has been really exciting to get back there to set everything up!  I am hoping to get to see all of you at the Meet and Greet scheduled for the 19th from 2:00-3:00 p.m.  You can drop off your supplies and see the classroom at that time.  Third grade has moved downstairs, so hopefully it will be a little bit cooler for us. I hope you have some fun things planned for your last few days of summer. :)
